Quite silly and sometimes scary this is also a book about friendship, family, childhood fears and growing up. It’s also very funny and highly imaginative. You won’t read many books like this one!

Fidge and her cousin Graham find themselves in the nightmarish world of Fidge’s younger sister Minnie’s favourite picture book. Desperate to get home to their families, they must first save the Wimblies from a spiteful, childish and vengeful dictator. Thankfully they have the help of a carrot on wheels, a toy elephant and a wise, grey Wimbley.
