Salary: FC03 - £15,336 - £18,302 pro rata*

* A Scottish Local Government Living Wage supplement is paid on spinal column points 1 - 7. This increases the hourly rate for these spinal column points to £9.07 per hour, £17,026 per annum pro rata.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and highly motivated individual to join us as a Customer Service Assistant within our new and exciting Escape Room at Rothes Halls. Cryptic Kingdom is a real life escape experience enjoyed by groups of friends, families and colleagues. Participants have 60 minutes to work together to solve a series of clues that will enable them to escape the room.

You will ideally come from a service background, but it'll be your enthusiasm to deliver high levels of customer service that makes you really stand out. Ensuring the smooth running of the gameplay at all times along with the creative flare needed to build strong rapport and visual displays, prepare props and reset the room.

As the first point of contact for our customers you will be naturally good with people. You will be able to put customers of all ages and backgrounds at ease, confident in helping with queries both face to face and by phone/email. Be able to work alone and as part of a team in a fast paced and Interactive environment whilst helping to promote our products and services.

Applicants will be reliable and punctual. Hours will be on a casual basis determined by bookings that have been made. We require someone who is available weekdays, evenings and weekends – sometimes at short notice. It goes without saying you'll need excellent numeracy, literacy and communication skills, but you'll also need excellent administration and organisational skills.
