Safe Drive Stay Alive 2017
Interactive Event Starts 5.45pm-7pm/Main Show 7.15pm
Safe Drive Stay Alive is celebrating 15 years of promoting road safety in Fife. Our aim is to highlight the dangers faced by new and young drivers on Fife roads. The roadshow takes place at the beginning of November each year and is aimed at 5th and 6th year school pupils. The roadshow demonstrates what could happen when you are not in control of your surroundings such as when you drive whilst using a mobile phone or if you don't wear a seat belt. The show clearly provides a reality of what will happen if you are in a collision, the damage that is done by a collision to you or someone you know. We have practitioners from all the emergency services who explain what their role would be if you were involved in a collision, we also have families who tell their stories of what they have experienced due to a road traffic collision.
An Interactive event before the show will involve various stalls including Driving Challenges, Beer Goggles, Emergency Services Photo Booth, CPR & Defibrillator display and much more. There will also be FREE tea, coffee & cake!
