What's ON

We’ve made some big changes in the background here at OnFife Libraries and moved over to a new, shiny library system.  From our new online library catalogue you’ll be able to easily see what you have out on loan and renew anything you want to keep a bit longer. Our previous online catalogue is no longer live so if you had it saved as a favourite or bookmark on your device then please change it to new link. You can place reservations for books and see where you are on the waiting list for really popular titles. And it’s just a nice place to browse through all the gorgeous book jackets and pick your next great read.  It’s the best bookshelf in Fife and it’s all free!

We are a dedicated warm space. Providing a warm and friendly welcome to support anyone who needs help through the cost of living crisis.

At Rosyth Library you can select books, use public access PCs and other offerings such as photocopying, printing and collecting hearing aids batteries.

As you would expect, there will be safety measures in place to ensure the wellbeing of our staff and visitors and we encourage you to follow the current Covid guidelines.

Overdue fines

Good news – we are waiving overdue fines on books. You can return your books to any OnFife library, it doesn’t have to be the branch you borrowed them from.

This spacious library is located in the centre of Rosyth, next to the Parkgate Community Centre and close to the shops. There’s a variety of activities for the local community including Bookbug sessions for babies and toddlers and an afternoon book group for adults. Please note that there is no toilet available at Rosyth Library.
