Local History Photographic Collections Assistant (Lochgelly)

We're looking for an enthusiastic volunteer with an interest in local history to help us scan and digitise our photographic collection held in the Jennie Lee Library, Lochgelly. You'd be working on your own, under the suprvision of one of our Local Studies Team in Lochgelly, scanning photographs to specific file/size requirements, saving them digitally, and recording all the information we have about each image in an Excel database. By undertaking this role, you will be helping to make our collections more accessible to the public!

This role will involve a committment of 2 hours per week in the Jennie Lee Library, Lochgelly on a day/time to suit you and the venue.

No specialist skills or knowledge are necessary to apply for this role, although basic PC skills are a must and you need to have good attention to detail too!
