Are you interested in oral history? We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help us create full  transcripts of a number of oral history audio recordings relating to the history of Glenrothes. These transcripts will then form part of the resource that will be used by the Archives Team in planning the Glenrothes New Town 70th Anniversary events in 2018.The role will involve working with a laptop and headphones (equipment provided) to listen to, transcribe and summarise ten oral history recordings. 'Glenrothes 70' Photo Project

 In 2018, Glenrothes celebrates its 70th anniversary! Our Archives Team are looking for three enthusiastic volunteers to help scan our Glenrothes collection of photo negatives and create a comprehensive list of the contents. Some of these photographs will be used in the upcoming "Glenrothes 70" exhibition.
